Building a Website Considerations
There are really two main options on building a website.
1. Build it yourself using a site builder like Weebly or Wix. My personal favorite is Weebly and we support it at Webhero.com. Weebly starts at $6 to $10 per month and Wix starts at $15 to $20 per month. WordPress is the most powerful option and a good choice for technical people. It is a free open source solution and included in most hosting plans. It is also what your web developer would most likely choose if you run into problems or time constraints.
2. The second option is to hire a web developer. Most Web Developers charge between $50 and $150 per hours. They will most likely use WordPress or another open source software to build your site. There are also Web Developers that specialize in things like Wix or Squarespace. Building and maintaining a good website or business site isn’t easy.
The last consideration is website graphics and color schemes. For this you will need a graphic designer. Some graphic designers also offer web site development.
At Webhero.com we support several options.
